do we live to go on holiday. the language itself presumes that our lives aren’t holiday enough. holidays were meant to stretch out, relax, be more yourself, “let your hair down” so to speak. but, it seems to be a time that gets special language and designation in our lives and we look forward to. and if that is the case, then are all the opposite true of our day-to-day lives? shouldn’t we enjoy our lives now. let our “hair down now?” not someday when. i think life was made to be experienced. to be chased after. to be lulled into. to be dreamed over. to drool over the beauty of a mountaintop and to bask in the light of rooftop sunrise. life is supposed to be our ultimate holiday.
