jesus is concrete, not the way

the aramaic word for truth means concrete. so when jesus is telling thomas that he is the truth, he isn’t making some doctrine out of his words. thomas is asking ‘where are you going?’ and ‘how do you i know what your telling me is true?’ and maybe even ‘how can i get to where you are?’ and jesus basically says…that he is concrete. that thomas can count on him. that thomas can trust him that he is going to come through on what he says. that he is reliable. which is another word for truth from the same word in the aramaic. interesting stuff.
