i was having a chat with my father in law about why we as people feel the need to be innovators. we like coloring outside the box a bit. blur the lines. and a poet who lived in the Old Testament period said something about history, that there is “nothing new under the sun”. And it’s got me thinking, what he said is absolutely right, not because its in the bible, but because we tend to repeat ourselves. our history stutters. and if it does, then innovation isn’t about selling ourselves to those we think we are innovating. then in that reality, innovation and dreaming outloud is much more important and valuable to those who are doing the innovating. it becomes something that spurs us on to even more innovating…
